At Pinto, the food we serve reflects what we love ourselves - we serve our homecooked delights not only in the preparation and serving, but also down to the best quality ingredients. What we love is what we know best - and we only serve what we know best!
A must-try at Pinto is our Mee Atjeh (Mee Aceh) - made from the recipe of our founder's mother - who insisted that the special peanut-based sauce is best served with yellow noodles made at home by hand. We have kept true to this recipe - the yellow noodles are all made fresh on the premises - no colouring and no preservatives. Comes in your choice of Vegetarian, with Shrimp or with Beef, and prepared either wet or dry.
Another must-try is our Pinto Nasi Goreng. This is not just any fried rice dish - it is made using the same special peanut-based sauce - with no artificial flavour enhancers.
We also serve a variety of Western dishes which has been distinctly suited to our local taste - and taking advantage of easily-sourced local ingredients. Our Fish and Chips are made with freshly filleted siakap fish (no preservatives), our Grilled Lamb Shoulder is served with mint sauce - as far as possible we source the mint from our gardens.
You will not want to miss out on our kid-friendly Pasta with Roasted Cherry Tomatoes Sauce and for the adults, taste the garlic, parsley and chilli flakes fiesta in our Pasta Aglio Olio.
