New Location:

pintô coffee+ 5615 Jalan Cheringin, Kampung Janda Baik, 28750 Bentong, Pahang, Malaysia

How to get here:

From Karak Highway, you may opt to take either the Genting Sempah/Janda Baik exit or the Kg. Bukit Tinggi/Janda Baik exit. After the Genting Sempah exit, you will reach a roundabout where you will take the 9 o'clock which will lead you to a slightly winding path before you reach the Kampung Janda Baik gate/archway on your right.

If you take the Kg. Bukit Tinggi exit, you will follow the signs to Janda Baik, passing through the narrow streets of pekan Bukit Tinggi, going uphill past the police station until you reach a junction where you will turn right and then immediate left at the Kampung Janda Baik gate/archway.

From the gate/archway, you will drive on for about 5 kms towards Kampung Cheringin. Here are some of the landmarks you will pass:

⇒Elektrisola (on your right)
⇒'Selamat Datang ke Janda Baik' sign (keep straight on)
⇒Surau Kg Cheringin (on your left)
⇒Kediaman Ketua Kampung Janda Baik (on your right)
⇒Maninjau Chalets (on your left)
⇒Homestay Janda Baik signboard (on your left - you are getting close!)
⇒An organic farm (on your left)

Once you see the farm, slow down - turn on your right blinkers. You will see a big blue water pipe on the right side of the road and beyond it, a road uphill. That is the entrance to our compound. Carefully turn right and drive up and then straight on until you reach us. The aroma of freshly roasted coffee should guide you!

The pintô project is our labor of love.

  • Our love affair with Janda Baik began quite by accident. We had a strong desire to combine our love of nature, coffee and good company into the idea of a community café which would focus on quality coffee experience, hearty meals and natural surroundings. We had been searching high and low for a suitable location in Kuala Lumpur but to no avail. It was not until we took a short pleasant 35-minute drive outside of KL to the quaint village of Janda Baik that we knew we had found the home for our project.
Janda Baik is a true gem, transporting you to a whole new world of fresh air, green surroundings and natural sounds while only a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of KL.

    pintô coffee+ Opened

Our pintô project began with the soft opening of pintô Coffee+, our community café, at a rented premise in Janda Baik. From the day we opened our doors to our first customers, we embarked on a journey that deepened our love and appreciation for the tranquil nature that surrounded us.

  • We hosted the very successful musical gathering Ukulele Chillout with the Ukulele Malaya group.

  • New Year's Eve 2013

    First countdown event

We hosted a countdown event complete with traditional fireworks, a local band and a BBQ.

  • 23 February 2013

    Community Service

We co-organised a community-based river cleaning programme with Kolej Komuniti Selayang and others — successfully removing almost one tonne worth of rubbish from polluting the rivers in Janda Baik!

  • 2012-2013

  • In 2014, as the lease of our rented premises came to an end, we embarked on a new ambitious journey with the building of our new premises on a 4-acre piece of land in Janda Baik which will expand the pintô project into a bigger café, a coffee laboratory, a full-facility camping ground, an events venue and a community center. We look forward to welcoming new friends and customers to our new home.
